Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Injection Mold for our client. Responsibilities include operating manual molding machines, trimming and separating parts, weighing and documenting quantities, and transferring scrap, runners, and finished products as needed. You’ll also follow Good Manufacturing Practices, maintain clean work areas in line with 5S standards, and complete required documentation for compliance and line clearances.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Monitors assigned molding machines.
  • Ensures that molded presses run efficiently, reporting issues to staff to correct.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work cell, following 5S and cleaning practices.
  • Runs manual molding machines when required. Demonstrates accountability in providing and sustaining a positive Safety culture.
  • Answers press alarms to maximize press efficiencies.
  • Transfers scrap and runners to the grinding area.
  • Transfers parts to Central Store.
  • Reviews procedures to ensure compliance and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
  • Reports processing problems to appropriate delegate for resolution. Meets all quality, quantity, and Good Manufacturing Practices to satisfy customer and Regulatory requirements.
  • Operates scales, document’s correct part quantities and weigh up. Operates manual molding machines, trims parts off runners, separates runners, signs cleaning documents.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards.
  • Starts and understands Line Clearances, reviews paperwork for proper documentation to comply with GMP procedures.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • Must be detail oriented and have good manual dexterity and math skills Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in use of mechanical and electronic measurement and test equipment preferred. Mechanical ability and aptitude necessary.
  • Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read engineering or mechanical drawings preferred. Time management, communication, fast pace and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks to complete all work by the end of the shift.
  • Works with minimal supervision regarding routine tasks. Good decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Communication skills.
