Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Rockwall, TX. This position is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and production goals are met. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with mold changes, and the ability to identify and resolve molding defects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and start injection molding machines for production runs
  • Perform mold changes and machine changeovers
  • Troubleshoot molding issues including short shots, flash, burn marks, sink marks, and dimensional concerns
  • Adjust process parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, and cooling rates
  • Monitor production efficiency and product quality
  • Perform first-piece inspections and document process changes
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of injection molding process technician experience preferred
