Job description

Process Technician – 2nd Shift

Location:Largo, FL
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $31.00/hour

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to support our injection molding operations. This position is responsible for optimizing machine and auxiliary equipment performance, troubleshooting production issues, maintaining product quality, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and adjust injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Set up and optimize machines, molds, robots, and related equipment.
  • Install and remove molds as needed.
  • Apply scientific molding principles and establish process parameters for engineered resins.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of machines, molds, and robots.
  • Ensure molded components meet quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Train and coach production employees on proper equipment operation.
  • Document process information, technical issues, and corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other departments.
  • Follow all safety, quality, ISO, and company policies.
  • Support the Production Supervisor and provide coverage when needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of injection molding experience, including machine adjustment, troubleshooting, and mold installation/removal.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of scientific molding and engineered resins.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Dependable with good judgment and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
