Job description

Plastinove is a growing PET preform manufacturing company seeking an experienced Injection Molding Specialist / Process Engineer with strong knowledge of PET preform production and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in improving quality, efficiency, and production performance.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and optimize PET injection molding processes
  • Troubleshoot quality issues such as bubbles, lines, short shots, haze, and defects
  • Improve cycle times, machine efficiency, and production output
  • Monitor mold performance and processing parameters
  • Support quality control and production teams
  • Ensure consistency in preform quality and production standards
  • Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams

Qualifications

  • Experience with PET preform injection molding required
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with molds, hot runners, resin drying, and machine parameters
  • Ability to identify and solve production and quality issues quickly
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and manufacturing best practices
  • Experience with PowerJet or similar injection molding machines is a plus
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
