Responsibilities

  • Generating an 18-month finished goods supply plan for the Injectables business.
    • Develop and maintain an 18-month finished goods supply plan for the Injectables business considering recurring downtime for maintenance and certification activities (e.g., media fills, HEPA certifications) development of the consensus demand plan collaborating with customers, sales and commercial colleagues and considering available market intelligence
    • Collaborate with the Demand Planning team members to understand and consider the consensus demand plan, key assumptions, risks and opportunities.
    • Maintain batch size, Bill of Material and routing information in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP software system to facilitate development of accurate supply plans
  • Supporting the evaluation of issues, risks, and opportunities in collaboration with the Manager of Planning & Scheduling within the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.
    • Support, in collaboration with the Mgr. Planning & Scheduling, the generation of supply & demand planning charts, graphs and associated output including critical assumptions, opportunities and risk associated with the supply plans and capacity loading constraints in the monthly Supply Meeting presentation
  • Developing a detailed production schedule for Injectables semi-finished and finished goods consistent with the 18-month monthly supply plan, and incorporating customer orders, sales forecasts, resource constraints, cycle times and inventory objectives
    • Generate and maintain a 3-week detailed schedule of semi-finished and finished goods manufacturing operations considering customer orders, resource constraints, cycle times, inventory objectives and the 18-month supply plan 
    • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Finance, MS&T and Finance team members to optimize the schedule given customer requirements, varying constraints and standards
  • The Senior Planner & Scheduler will also support the development and introduction of new products to Injectables business and the planning and scheduling processes.
    • Configure Bill of Material, Routing, Rate parameters for development and new products in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP software system
    • Develop 3-week detailed schedule for development and new product semi-finished goods and finished goods

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, other related programs
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. CDMO experience preferred
  • Prior supply planning, scheduling, or other supply chain experience preferred
  • Continuous improvement / lean six sigma experience preferred
