Job description

Position Overview 
 
Freezing Point is the fastest-growing frozen beverage company in the U.S. and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Cafe Tango. We are a growing, high-performance manufacturing team looking for an Ingredient Handler/Mixer to support production by accurately handling, preparing, and staging raw materials. 
 
This role is critical to ensuring our products meet quality, safety, and consistency standards. Ingredient Handlers are responsible for receiving, storing, weighing, batching, and transporting ingredients while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols. 
Pay: $18-21/hourly
Schedule: M-F 6am-3pm with a 30 minute lunch. Overtime opportunities available. 
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: 
  • Receive, inspect, and store raw materials and food ingredients according to established procedures 
  • Accurately weigh, batch, mix, and stage ingredients based on detailed recipes and production schedules 
  • Verify ingredient accuracy prior to release to production lines 
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move and stack ingredients safely 
  • Monitor ingredient inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies 
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage conditions, and documentation of ingredients 
  • Follow all GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards 
  • Identify and report potential contaminants, damaged materials, or quality concerns 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment 
  • Other duties as assigned 
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:  
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes, formulas, and written instructions with high accuracy 
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation 
  • Forklift experience  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment 
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field 
 
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:  
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments 
  • Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, or quality systems 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency 
  • Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and standard operating procedures without shortcuts 
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of accountability 
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support production and operations partners 
  • Comfortable receiving direction, asking clarifying questions, and learning new processes 
  • Safety-minded with the ability to identify and communicate potential risks or issues 
  • Able to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality standards 
 
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:   
  • Active physical work that includes the ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.  
  • Continuously walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching in all directions. Includes climbing stairs and ladders.  
  • Semi-dusty conditions due to ingredient handling (e.g., sugar) 
  • Fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT
