The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Facilities Engineer to join our team.

The Facilities Engineer responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating existing plant layouts
  • Designing future layout improvements based on Manufacturing requirements
  • Managing various projects including:
    • Infrastructure system improvements
    • Building demolitions
    • Manufacturing cell relocations
    • Future expansion site planning
    • Installation/relocation of machines
  • Coordinating various contractors performing work on site, and communicating project goals and expectations
  • Coordinating inspections and preventative maintenance of building life-safety systems and other various equipment
  • Overseeing handling and disposal of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous
    • Assist in EPA audits and internal record keeping, ensuring company compliance
  • Working closely with executive leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget
  • Utilization of MS Office tools to present and track project status
  • Other technical, physical, and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering
  • An in-depth understanding of building infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).
  • Proficient with CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Siemens NX is a plus
  • Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and machine specifications at an advanced level
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).
  • U. S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.  Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.     Preferences

    • Prior construction or manufacturing experience
    • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building code, OSHA, and safety standards
    • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (EPA, RCRA, DOT, and UDEQ).
    • PMP or other project management certification
