As ATS+Partners continues expanding its government contracting and public sector staffing portfolio, we are seeking experienced Government IT Recruiters to support high-priority federal, state, local, and education technology staffing engagements. For this role as an Sr. Staffing Consultant, it is ideal for recruiters who understand the urgency, complexity, and compliance requirements of government IT staffing and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment supporting infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, software engineering, and enterprise technology programs. If you have experience recruiting IT professionals within government contracting, public sector staffing, or technical consulting environments, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for IT contract, contract-to-hire, and consulting positions supporting federal, state, local, and education sector clients
  • Source, screen, interview, and qualify technical professionals across multiple disciplines, including:

  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, Boolean sourcing, and recruiting platforms to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct technical and behavioral screening interviews
  • Coordinate candidate submissions, interview scheduling, onboarding, compliance documentation, and start-date management
  • Maintain recruiting activity, candidate records, and reporting within ATS/CRM systems
  • Support proposal staffing efforts, urgent staffing requests, and rapid-response hiring initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with client onboarding requirements, including background checks, work authorization verification, and government contracting standards
  • Build relationships with technical professionals, government staffing communities, and industry networks
Requirements Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience recruiting IT professionals in a staffing agency, consulting, MSP, or government contracting environment
  • Proven experience supporting federal, state, local government, education, or public sector staffing engagements preferred
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, technical terminology, certifications, and current technology hiring trends
  • Experience recruiting for contract and consulting-based technical positions
  • Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruiting CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with high-volume sourcing and candidate pipeline development
  • Familiarity with compliance-oriented onboarding and contractor documentation processes
  • Strong internet research and Boolean sourcing skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for government contractors, public sector consulting firms, or IT staffing agencies
  • Experience supporting cleared recruiting or security-sensitive roles
  • Familiarity with VMS/MSP staffing environments and SOW-based staffing engagements
