Job Summary:
Eleven Recruiting is a specialized technology staffing agency supporting professional and financial services companies. Their client, a wealth management firm, is seeking a VP of Infrastructure to oversee and enhance infrastructure systems, lead the transition to cloud solutions, and manage multiple infrastructure projects to align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and enhance infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Lead the transition from on-premise infrastructure to cloud solutions with a goal of 100% cloud-based applications.
• Work closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party providers to align infrastructure systems with business objectives.
• Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee infrastructure licensing, subscriptions, and vendor relations, focusing on cost-efficiency.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices to secure the environment.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, service-level agreements, and knowledge bases.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 operational support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including networks, servers, and virtualization.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure) and disaster recovery.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, with a focus on cloud migrations.
• Strong background in managing complex environments, including systems and network administration, IaaS, and architecture.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and working with vendors, managed service providers, and value-added resellers (VARs).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong passion for cybersecurity, with knowledge of frameworks such as CIS, NIST, PCI, and SASE.
• Ability to lead initiatives, manage teams, and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
• Experience migrating infrastructure from on-premise to the cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products (firewalls, switches, SD-WAN, VPN, ZTNA).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 endpoint features (Intune, Autopilot, Windows Hello).
• Certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, CISSP, or CISM.
• Experience managing projects in Jira and documentation in Confluence.
• Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA).
• Finance industry experience and working in mid-sized companies (200+ employees) are a plus.
