Job description

You will serve as a senior strategic advisor supporting some of the most critical water infrastructure planning initiatives in the country. Your expertise will help shape long-term investments in water conveyance, reliability, resiliency, and modernization for one of the largest public utilities in the United States. This role allows you to influence executive decision-making and infrastructure priorities that impact millions of residents. Your experience in utility master planning, capital investment strategy, and water system modernization will be instrumental in driving future-state solutions.

This opportunity is contingent upon our client being awarded the contract.ย 

WORKSITE:ย Remote

WORK SCHEDULE:ย Monday - Friday PST Hours

PAY RATE:ย 120.00

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
โ€ข Evaluate water infrastructure planning alternatives and long-range investment strategies
โ€ข Assess system reliability, resiliency, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
โ€ข Support capital improvement prioritization and strategic infrastructure reviews
โ€ข Develop executive briefings, technical memoranda, and planning recommendations
โ€ข Participate in expert panel sessions and stakeholder strategy workshops
โ€ข Advise leadership on water supply reliability and climate adaptation planning

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
โ€ข 15+ years of municipal water infrastructure planning experience
โ€ข Experience with large water agencies, utilities, or engineering consulting firms
โ€ข Strong knowledge of water conveyance systems, aqueducts, and distribution planning
โ€ข Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
โ€ข Expertise in capital planning, resiliency, and asset investment strategy
โ€ข California public utility experience strongly preferred
