What you'll do
  • Design, develop, and automate cloud-native infrastructure architecture within the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Implement, refine and continuously improve Zero-trust configurations within Azure/M365.
  • Advise clients on best practices, improvement opportunities and strategic recommendations
  • Maintain cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Manage and update infrastructure as a solution products that Envision provides.
  • Collaborate on projects and managed services with other team members, including peer reviews.
  • Optimize existing or post-migration environments for cost optimization
  • Optimize existing or post-migration environments performance, scalability, and user adoption.
  • Lead end-to-end Azure cloud consolidation and/or migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from disparate or on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting where necessary.
  • Assist with security events and providing root-cause analysis when needed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with design and maintenance of infrastructure in the Microsoft cloud
  • Demonstratable understanding of migrating workloads to the Azure cloud.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting technologies in the modern workplace
  • Deep understanding of the pillars of Microsoft's Zero Trust architecture
  • Extensive knowledge in the primary portals of the Azure platform (M365, AAD, Intune, Security Center, Purview)
  • Proven understanding of standard methodologies for Securing Active Directory (MIM/PAM, Conditional Access, Identity Management for Azure AD Authentication, Zero Trust)
  • Consulting experience
  • Consultative approach with clients to discover their technical and business needs
  • Experience with a technology consulting, vendor or systems integrator in selling, designing, and implementing solutions
  • You must be a Microsoft 365 Azure Solutions Architect Expert or be able to obtain it within 6 months. Microsoft 365 Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Desired Technical and Work Experience
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI
  • Experience in consolidation of Active Directory domains/forests and M365 Tenants
  • Experience with Azure logic apps, Azure Automation
  • Experience with iSCSI, Fiber Channel or NFS storage technology
  • Experience designing and implementing hardware server solutions
  • Experience designing and implementing hardware network solutions
  • Strong experience with Microsoft PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience planning, designing, and implementing server virtualization and storage solutions built around VMware. Experience with VDI solutions a plus
