Job Description- SUMMARY:
    Responsible for all aspects of Microsoft stack based Infrastructure services. This includes research, design, test, and deploy technologies being implemented by the desktop organization.
    Majority of the focus will be on technologies that utilize a desktop OS.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Research, design, deploy, and test Windows Operating Systems
    Create, update, test and deploy software packages.
    Perform lifecycle management for operating systems as well as applications using the Microsoft System Center suite of products (maintain hotfixes, service packs, software deployments)
    Familiarity with Microsoft System Center, scripting, PowerShell and other automation processes and solutions
    Familiarity with virtualization technologies
    Perform as tier three\four level support engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex enterprise level issues
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network
    Develops and adheres to enterprise standards
    Provides planning and technical support for company installations
    Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary
    Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection
    Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs
    Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each primary and secondary duties defined above.
    3+ years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer.
    An MCSE certification is a plus.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
    Ability to diagnose and solve complex system and enterprise level problems
    Create and maintain architecture, design and installation documentation
    Experience with IT mergers is a plus
    Effectively communicate with peers and management
