Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise for pre-sales opportunities, installation, and post-sales maintenance of Commercial Services products, ensuring the systems function.
  • Maintains competency in established area(s) of expertise through vendor and industry training. Liaison with manufacturers regarding product or applications upgrades.
  • Gathers, and updates data pertaining to tools, resources, products, and applications on a regular basis.
  • Develops and applies technology for customers' use.
  • Proactively develops innovative solutions and programs to enhance business opportunities.  
  • Provides active technical mentoring for the Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery teams.
  • Interface with senior-level customer contacts, identify customer needs, add technical expertise to customer proposals, handle objections appropriately, and deliver successful sales presentations adding value through industry knowledge and insight.  
  • Personally follows through on customer inquiries and requests, demonstrates responsiveness, and able to present highly technical topics included advanced products/applications and business solutions to large groups.

  • Able to retrieve information and conduct research related to project completion and job responsibilities.

  • Proficient in basic to intermediate computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Must have current driver's license and/or passport.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • RCDD is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Estimation of Infrastructure cabling technologies.
  • Ability to travel 0-10% of the time.
  • The ideal candidate is located in the Plano, TX market.
