Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an CT Technologist for 7am-7pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This CT Tech position is primarily responsible for performing imaging examinations utilizing complex imaging equipment. This position requires interaction with radiologists and referring physicians. CT Technologists perform job duties with independence and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
CT Technologist Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Operate multi-slice scanner and accompanying power injector
  • Perform patient care services relevant to imaging procedures to include IV access starts and injection of contrast
  • Maintains log of procedures completed and performs QA
  • Insures availability of supplies
  • Responsible for maintaining current CT knowledge base

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS
