The Role:

The Robotics Professor is directly responsible for developing and delivering courses that ensure UAT students achieve their programs learning outcomes, complete their programs and have an exceptional YRBL learning experience.


Professors primarily spend their time planning and delivering the learning experiences that guide students towards learning course objectives, creating innovative works and graduating as ethical technologists. Professors are masters of the YRBL methodology and effectively use all of its elements every day while mentoring students in ways that provide them with an exceptionally satisfying collegiate experience. Using UATs systems, Professors provide timely and continuous feedback to students while focusing on helping all of them achieve every learning objective. As a teaching faculty member, Professors work with their peers and the Faculty Council to improve their courses while examining feedback from advisors, students and performance data.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspire, motivate, and mentor students
  • Facilitate relevant student projects and innovations
  • Development and delivery of coursework that reflect current, emerging and future technologies and practices in theengineering field
  • Be an active member of the engineering community and encourage student participation


Education and Skills Requirements: Master's degree in robotics or relevantfield with 18 credit hours in roboticsrequired;Doctorate preferred

Important Notes:

Location Requirements: This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing to work in-person at our campus in Tempe, AZ.


Adjunct Pay: $3,000 for in-person courses; $2,400 for hybrid/online courses


Part-Time Pay: $42,500 - $55,000 dependent on Education and Experience


Full-Time Salary + Benefits: $85k-$110k dependent on Education and Experience.
