WPI's Business School (the Business School) seeks motivated applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Information Systems (dual mission tenure-track) to build on the university's strengths in the information technology space. We seek motivated applicants with research focused on data analytics, business analytics, databases, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in organizations. Successful candidates must be prepared to conduct high-impact research, publish in high-quality outlets and commit to high-quality teaching.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications: Successful candidates will embrace the opportunity to be part of established and new educational and research programs in the growing area of information systems and technology and business analytics. They will distinguish themselves by their interest in collaborating with colleagues from the business school and other departments with technology, engineering, and analytics expertise.
A Ph.D. in Information Systems or equivalent is required. Preference will be given to candidates with an ability to engage in high-quality scholarship and high-quality teaching, and have demonstrated interests in analytics, databases, ML/AI applications in organizations and platforms. Candidates should demonstrate ability and willingness to teach at the graduate and undergraduate level.

Compensation:
Salary range: $130,000 - $140,000 per year. Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. WPI's benefits package includes a robust retirement match, wellness perks, tuition assistance and more!
