Position Summary
Yotta Energy is seeking an experienced IT & Cybersecurity Manager to oversee the company's internal technology operations and cybersecurity initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between employees and the company's managed IT service provider, ensuring reliable technology services, protecting company systems and data, and driving continuous improvements to our technology infrastructure.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent project management and communication skills. This position will oversee technology operations, cybersecurity programs, IT vendor management, employee technology support, and technology related compliance while helping create a secure and efficient workplace.
Essential Responsibilities
IT Operations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Yotta Energy and the managed IT service provider
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of company technology services.
  • Coordinate hardware deployments, upgrades, replacements, and lifecycle management
  • Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding for technology equipment, user accounts, and system access
  • Maintain inventory of laptops, monitors, mobile devices, printers, and other technology assets
  • Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, user administration, and collaboration tools.
  • Coordinate software deployments, updates, and technology projects
  • Manage conference room technology, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and office AV equipment
  • Assist employees with hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues while escalating complex issues to the managed IT provider
Cybersecurity
  • Lead the company's cybersecurity program in partnership with the managed IT provider
  • Monitor cybersecurity risks and coordinate remediation efforts
  • Oversee endpoint security, antivirus, MFA, email security, and identity management
  • Coordinate vulnerability assessments and security audits
  • Manage cybersecurity awareness training for employees
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Coordinate incident response activities with external security partners
  • Ensure appropriate backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices are maintained
  • Assist with compliance requirements and security best practices
Vendor & Technology Management
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, telecommunications providers, and software vendors
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that improve productivity and security
  • Manage technology budgets and purchasing
  • Lead IT related projects from planning through implementation
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain IT policies, standards, and documentation
  • Ensure technology assets are properly tracked and documented
  • Assist with software license compliance
  • Support internal and external technology audits
  • Develop standard operating procedures for IT operations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, cybersecurity, or related roles
  • Experience working with managed service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience managing technology vendors and projects
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or technology organizations
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or endpoint management
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV systems
  • Security+, CISSP, Microsoft, or similar certifications are a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees
