Geo-Logic Associates (GLA) is a privately held geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental consulting firm with more than 400 employees operating from more than 30 offices throughout the United States and Peru.

Position Overview

GLA is seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee the firm's information technology team; maintain secure and reliable on-premise infrastructure, cloud systems, and cybersecurity solutions; and advise and assist the executive management team in support of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor GLA's IT staff located in multiple offices.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Egnyte, and related cloud platforms, including identity management, Conditional Access, endpoint management, SSO, SCIM integrations, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Recommend policies and procedures for network infrastructure, cloud environments, system performance, backup systems, disaster recovery, AI implementation, and business continuity.
  • Identify IT solutions and investments to support executive management team directives.
  • Advise the data science and AI technologies team on IT topics that support their objectives.
  • Develop custom data extracts and queries for Deltek Vantagepoint and the associated Microsoft SQL server. 
Required Qualifications
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency in the use and configuration of Deltek Vantagepoint, the underlying SQL Server database, and the associated database structure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional IT experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record acceptable to GLA's insurer.
