Role Summary
The IT Systems Administrator provides front-line technology support and enterprise application administration across rPlus. This role handles routine employee hardware, software, connectivity, access, and workplace-technology issues; manages user accounts, licensing, onboarding, and offboarding; and maintains clear system documentation. The position also supports application adoption and cybersecurity practices while coordinating advanced infrastructure, network, backup, and security matters with the Companyโ€™s external IT provider. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Companyโ€™s technology and operational needs.
General Responsibilities
End-User and Workplace Technology Support
  • Serve as an internal contact for day-to-day technology requests; troubleshoot common hardware, software, connectivity, access, printer, conferencing, and peripheral issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 and appropriate Tier 2 support, document recurring issues, create practical user guidance, and escalate advanced matters to the external IT provider.
  • Coordinate employee hardware procurement, setup, deployment, inventory, replacement, and retirement.
Enterprise Application and Access Administration
  • Administer accounts, licenses, groups, roles, and permissions across Microsoft 365, Box, Adobe, NetSuite, and other Company systems.
  • Maintain application, license, ownership, renewal, integration, and access records; support configuration changes, testing, updates, and periodic access reviews.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, access, equipment, training, secure deprovisioning, and license recovery.
Application Adoption and Improvement
  • Help employees and departments use existing applications effectively by identifying workflow gaps and recommending configuration, training, integration, or automation improvements.
  • Support system selection, rollout, testing, documentation, and adoption; track important issues and outcomes following major changes.
Cybersecurity and Compliance Support
  • Support multi-factor authentication, credential management, least-privilege access, security awareness, policy compliance, access documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with the external IT provider on endpoint protection, patching, backups, security alerts, networking, and other back-end technical functions.
Documentation and Process Improvement
  • Maintain concise documentation for systems, configurations, access, integrations, owners, and standard procedures.
  • Standardize routine support and administration processes and use scripting, reporting, automation, or low-code tools when practical.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate with vendors and technology providers on support, procurement, licensing, renewals, implementations, and system reviews.
  • Partner with department leaders on operational needs and escalate material cost, risk, security, access, or policy decisions to the appropriate decision-maker.
Skill Requirements
  • Associate or bachelorโ€™s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus at least three years of corporate IT support or enterprise application administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and common business applications, including accounts, licenses, roles, permissions, devices, and employee technology provisioning.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn new applications, understand business workflows, and explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Strong documentation, organization, communication, customer-service, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
  • Sound judgment when handling access, confidential information, cybersecurity concerns, and escalation decisions.
Skill Requirements (nice to have)
  • Experience administering enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Box, Adobe, NetSuite, VComply, 1Password, or similar systems.
  • Experience with software implementation, user training and adoption, licensing, access reviews, and IT asset management.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID, endpoint management, patching, backups, VPNs, networking, APIs, integrations, single sign-on, identity management, and data flows.
