We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time IT Associate to join our team. This role will deliver exceptional standards of service, ensuring that all of our equipment and systems are functioning at peak performance and secured against any malicious intent. This requires complex problem-solving partnered with persistent learning and teaching. If you're excited by the dynamic challenges of configuring equipment, managing facilities, and keeping Smarty running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
This is an onsite, non-remote opening in Orem, UT.
What you'll do
  • Provide Smarty team members with general troubleshooting services, problem solving, and training
  • Research, procure, manage, configure, and support employee equipment, including laptops, phones, monitors, peripherals, printers, desks, chairs, etc.
  • Procure and allocate software licenses and subscriptions
  • Track, manage, and disperse company assets
  • Configure and update network equipment, including routers, switches, cables, wireless access points, and firmware
  • Configure and manage the Smarty phone system
  • Ensure that Smarty assets are safe and secure, performing regular audits while installing and managing physical devices
  • Develop protocols and assist with creating policies and procedures to meet the needs of an evolving business landscape
  • Manage Smarty facilities to maintain performance standards, including HVAC, elevator, furniture, installations, etc.
  • Complete special projects, from remodels and rebuilds to workstation optimization
  • Engage primarily in face-to-face and in-person coordination of work with other team members to align IT-specific activities with organizational objectives

  • Strong communication skills necessary to work with all levels of Smarty
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in problem solving
  • Experience working with Linux Shell scripting
