Summary/Objective: Harper General Contractors is a commercial construction company serving the southeast with offices across North and South Carolina. The IT Support Specialist will setup, configure and troubleshoot end-user technology including network, software, hardware, and operating systems. Duties will be performed in both office environments and construction jobsites.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist office staff and field users with software and hardware problem resolution.
  • Monitor helpdesk and take appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory response within specified time frames.
  • Document time spent and resolution details in ticketing system.
  • Machine imaging using MDT/WDS/Intune.
  • Windows Active Directory user account creation and management.
  • Issue/replace hardware and software as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and be prepared to make recommendations.

Competencies:
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Windows 10, Office 365, Apple iOS, Networking.
  • Active Directory account management.

Credentials and Experience:
