Job description

Main Responsibilities

Pre-Installation

  • Coordinate with hospital IT stakeholders to complete the necessary IT survey documentation prior to system installation or purchase
  • Supporting hospital IT teams during security assessments, risk reviews, and technical validations
  • Serve as the technical lead for pre-sales IT engagements, covering hardware, software, and implementation planning, including associated project management activities
  • Collaborate with and support the clinical implementation team throughout the project lifecycle

Remote Technical Support Desk

  • Lead technical engagements with customer IT teams, providing expert guidance on product installation and implementation
  • Remote support for software upgrades and remote configuration of system hardware and software components
  • Coordinate system implementation on hospital LAN that exchange DICOM data with RadCalc
  • Assist hospital IT with configuring RadCalc on hospital LAN and within hospital-based cybersecurity, encryption, and AD requirements
  • Remotely support clinical team for all IT troubleshooting cases

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Related certifications: Networking certification, Cybersecurity certification, Database, Server certifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Radiation Therapy and/or hospital IT System Administration and network experience required
  • Experience with cybersecurity requirements for SaMD deployment in hospital networks, including secure configuration, data protection, and coordination with hospital IT/security teams
  • Familiarity with application architectures, including web‐based, cloud‐enabled, and client–server
  • Understand and troubleshooting of network segmentation, secure communication protocols, firewall and network administration
  • Experience in Active Directory administration
  • Basic Database administration skills
  • DICOM knowledge preferred

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Documentation as natural part of projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and fluency in English
  • Position has up to 15% travel time
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
