Tittle: Senior Informatica Administrator (MDM Focus)
Location: Buffalo, NY(onsite)
Role Summary:
The Senior Informatica Administrator with a focus on Master Data Management (MDM) will manage and optimize the Informatica ecosystem supporting banking data integration and master data governance. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security for critical data platforms used in financial services operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Informatica MDM Hub, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and proactive monitoring of Hub Server, Cleanse Match Server, and IDD applications.
  • Perform code migrations, deployment group management (static/dynamic), backups/restores, and disaster recovery for multi-domain MDM environments integrated with banking systems.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and tune match/merge rules, trust settings, and data quality processes using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and PowerCenter ETL.
  • Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders to support data modeling, source integration, hierarchy management, and downstream delivery for core banking and regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams for LDAP security, environment variables, and routine maintenance, escalating vendor issues to Informatica support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in Informatica administration, with 5+ years focused on MDM (versions 9.x-10.x or Cloud MDM), including Hub Console, Process Server, ActiveVOS, and IDD configuration.
  • Proven expertise in ETL processes, data profiling, match/merge strategies, survivorship rules, and integration with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of banking data governance, multi-node high-availability setups, performance tuning, and tools like PMPC, RTAM, ILM/TDM.
  • Experience with deployments, hotfixes, repository management, and scripting (UNIX Shell, SQL).
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with financial services data domains (customer, account, provider) and compliance standards.
  • Exposure to banking domain operations, agile methodologies, and cloud MDM (Informatica Cloud ICE).
Certifications:
  • Informatica MDM Administrator or PowerCenter Administrator.
