Job Description

A Senior ETL Developer develops, implements and maintains the functionality of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. They also work with members of Reporting, Application Support, DBA, Infrastructure and other teams to ensure the timeliness and reliability of information flowing between the Data Warehouse and other systems. 


Job Responsibilities 

Implement data handling, cleansing, and standardization procedures and business transformation rules and logic (ETL) using Informatica 9.5 and Oracle 11g 

Develop, and implement functions, stored procedures, and ETL jobs using PL/SQL 

Actively participate in agile scrum review and planning sessions 

Actively participate in regular code reviews and maintenance of code and process documentation 


Required Experience 

Experience with Informatica DQ required 

Experience with Data Governance strongly preferred 

Experience deploying Data Quality Framework and Solutions required 

Experience with Informatica PowerCenter 

Strong RDBMS SQL and troubleshooting skills 

Significant experience delivering and managing solutions around data integration 

Familiarity with current trends in data quality technologies 

5+ years of experience implementing complex queries against large datasets to support business intelligence functions 

5+ years of experience with ETL, application and database performance tuning and debugging 

3+ years of minimum experience using standard ETL tools (Informatica, SAP Business Objects Data Services preferred) 

Understanding of Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse concepts, such as star schema, snowflakes, dimensions, facts, etc 

Experience following Agile development methodologies 

Experience following release management and quality assurance processes 

Very strong customer service orientation
