Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
Perform installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality platforms. Responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance tuning, and automation using Infrastructure-as-Code practices across on-premises and cloud environments.
Location: Minneapolis, MN
EXPERIENCE: 7+ years in Informatica PowerCenter administration and related infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality platforms on-premises and on AWS Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot software/hardware issues and perform remediation activities independently.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, and Test-Kitchen.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, backup/recovery, clustering, and security compliance.
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedules to ensure system uptime.
  • Integrate with messaging and data tools such as IBM MQ, IBM ACE, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, AWS MSK, Amazon MQ.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and on-prem Linux environments (RedHat, Amazon Linux).
  • Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, and Test-Kitchen.
  • Expertise in backup/recovery, clustering, security, patch management, performance tuning, and monitoring.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex software/hardware issues and performing remediation.

Competencies:
