Role Overview

As a GRC Research Analyst, you will contribute to the development and delivery of research and advisory services in governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity technologies. You will support thought leadership, develop client relationships and contribute to shaping market insight within the global GRC landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of research and advisory services across governance, risk, compliance and cybersecurity technologies
  • Support Research Directors in conducting and authoring research including market analysis, rankings and bespoke reports
  • Build and develop trusted relationships with GRC vendors and end‑users
  • Engage with business development teams to support new memberships and advisory opportunities
  • Deliver and support market presentations, briefings and conference participation
  • Monitor regulatory developments and market trends through research and industry engagement
  • Collaborate across Risk Global brands to share expertise and support business growth
  • Participate in internal research discussions and contribute to shaping research agendas
  • Support advisory and consulting engagements, including tailored client deliverables
  • Contribute to thought leadership content and research outputs
  • Support research operations and infrastructure improvements
  • Coach and support other research team members where required

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in governance, risk, compliance or related technology and services
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GRC technologies and solutions
  • Understanding of global regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build professional relationships
  • Evidence of intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge ideas and contribute to thought leadership

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data analysis tools or programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SPSS)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI or similar platforms
  • Experience using AI tools for research content development
