Job description

Position Overview

A successful Nashville-based content creator and entrepreneur is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and social-media-savvy Personal & Content Assistant to become her trusted right hand.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who understands the fast-paced world of social media, content creation, brand partnerships, and influencer marketing and genuinely enjoys being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything organized and moving forward.

The ideal candidate is polished but down-to-earth, tech-savvy, resourceful, and naturally proactive. You should be comfortable working in an environment where schedules can change, packages arrive constantly, filming deadlines are always approaching, and priorities can shift quickly. This role requires someone who can see what needs to be done, take ownership, and make life easier without needing constant direction.

This is primarily a Personal/Content Assistant position. There is a small childcare component involving the client's 5-year-old son on designated days, but childcare is not the primary focus of the role.

Schedule

Start Date:

September 1, 2026
Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week

Monday and Tuesday, plus every other Friday, require availability for school pickup by 3:30 PM. Remaining hours are flexible and will generally be scheduled around content creation, filming, appointments, travel, and business needs.

Compensation

$35–$40 per hour

Benefits
  • 3 paid sick/personal days per year
  • 5 paid vacation days per year
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted right hand and help keep the client's personal and professional life organized
  • Build and maintain a detailed weekly calendar for content deadlines, filming days, appointments, events, travel, household needs, and family commitments
  • Keep track of brand partnerships, upcoming projects, deliverables, filming dates, and posting deadlines
  • Receive and unbox frequent PR and brand packages
  • Organize and log products and cross-check inventory against upcoming campaigns to ensure everything needed has arrived
  • Manage product returns, including packing, labeling, and drop-off
  • Break down boxes and packaging and manage recycling
  • Assist with posting and publishing content across social media platforms
  • Upload and organize YouTube content, including YouTube Shorts
  • Organize video files and maintain cloud/drive storage
  • Assist with DMs, comments, product links, LTK links, and community engagement
  • Keep the home office and content/filming areas organized and camera-ready
  • Run personal and business-related errands as needed
  • Help with packing, unpacking, and getting the household reorganized after travel
  • Coordinate occasional pet boarding drop-offs and pickups
  • Anticipate needs and proactively handle details before they become another item on the client's to-do list

Childcare Component

The client co-parents her 5-year-old son, so the assistant will also provide limited family support during her parenting days.

This primarily includes school pickup by 3:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Friday, followed by helping with snacks, play, activities, and his routine until Mom is available.

The ideal candidate should genuinely enjoy children and be comfortable and confident transporting a child, but this is not a traditional nanny position.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who understands the world of social media and content creation and can comfortably work alongside a successful creator and entrepreneur.

Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Personal Assistant, Content Assistant, Social Media Assistant, Influencer Assistant, or in a similar position would be ideal.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and a natural self-starter
  • Social-media and tech savvy
  • Familiar with Instagram, YouTube, and other major social platforms
  • Comfortable with content calendars, digital files, cloud storage, uploads, DMs, and online community engagement
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines
  • Flexible and comfortable with a creative, fast-paced schedule
  • Resourceful and able to figure things out independently
  • Professional, trustworthy, and highly discreet
  • Warm, personable, and easy to have around
  • Comfortable working in a private home
  • Comfortable around a friendly dog
  • Comfortable occasionally assisting with a 5-year-old
  • A safe and confident driver with a reliable vehicle

The Right Fit

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the business and organizational side of social media and content creation and thrives behind the scenes.

The client is looking for someone she can trust, communicate easily with, and develop a great working rhythm with someone who will learn her preferences, anticipate what needs to happen next, and become an integral part of keeping her business and personal life organized.
