Overview of the job

As an Account manager, you will work within the Client Services team. This role is tasked with overseeing and executing brand campaigns in post sale by delivering best in class client service. This role spends the majority of their time working directly with creators and agents to ensure branded campaigns are delivered on time and with the highest quality creative. They are experts in creator sourcing, negotiations, and campaign execution, with the ability to foresee challenges and elevate appropriately.

Measures of success - in the first few months, you will have:
  • Met the team: Spent 1:1 with your manager and other team members to build rapport and understand how your role fits into the overall structure of the pod.
  • Familiarized yourself with key processes: Particular reference to our internal campaign trackers, sourcing, creator selection, and negotiation processes. You are asking questions and providing suggestions based on your experience in creator marketing.
  • Learned our key systems: Reference to Slack, Google Workspace, IQ Data, Sprout Social, and Waves.
  • Established creator comms understanding: You understand how to source/identify creators, and you feel comfortable owning outreach, negotiating, and execution for creators on campaigns you are assigned, managing a high volume of creators.
  • Creator management: Review and vet creator shortlists from Account Executives, ownership as the main point of contact for creators/agents in campaign execution from creator outreach, creator negotiations, creator briefing, creator concepting, and creator content. Ensuring creators go live on time with approved creative + captions, following all FTC guidelines.
  • Initiated minimal client interaction: Answer client questions when on-ground and support client comms on calls and via email with help from the manager.
Roles & responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management of our creator campaigns, with a focus on leading creator comms across key social platforms including; TikTok, YouTube, Meta (FB + IG) Pinterest & Snap.
  • Keeping creators and agents briefed and on time to meet all campaign milestones for an exceptional client experience. Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with creators and agents.
  • Own negotiations, budgeting and contracting, with support from senior leadership as needed.
  • Reviewing creator content to ensure it meets campaign briefing requirements and expectations against approved creative concept treatment.
  • Continue to foster expert knowledge of the creator community.
  • Oversee and manage campaigns via our platform, Waves, ensuring your Account Executive is sourcing diverse and vetted talent, contracting all creators, and uploading briefs & content for review and approval.
  • Ensure inputs to Waves for creator payments and campaign delivery are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Supporting your Client Leads to ensure all campaigns are set up correctly and all data input across Waves, TikTok One (TTO), and campaign trackers are consistent.
  • Supporting senior team members by providing consistent updates to your client lead and manager about status of your creators on your assigned campaigns.
  • Work on end-of-campaign reports alongside Account Executives and Senior Account Managers to ensure we exceed client expectations.
  • Continuously focus on best in class client service and output of work for our partners.
What you will need
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in an influencer marketing or social media role
  • A self-starter, eager to learn and provide proactive updates to your team without prompting
  • Experience being organized and meticulous about meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail
  • High energy and ability to multitask, with a real ability to quickly prioritize across several projects
  • A proven team player, with a proactive and positive approach to achieving goals and supporting the work of others
  • Able to build strong rapport and relationships both internally and externally
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Not afraid to roll the sleeves up and get involved with day-to-day tasks when required
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of campaign execution and reporting metrics that would determine the success of a campaign (impressions, views, CPM, VCR, ER, etc.)
  • Confidence in campaign execution, understanding when to pushback on creators/agents vs. elevate, and using knowledge to inform future campaigns.
