Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients to identify key mental health issues, leading to the development of personalized and effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual counseling sessions via telehealth, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients, regularly tracking their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches to optimize their healing journey.
• Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, attending webinars and workshops to remain informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients facing various psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and family dynamics. By utilizing a personalized approach to care, you will engage with clients of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a safe and trusting environment in which they can explore their emotions and experiences.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license in appropriate fields, such as: Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capacities, enabling the building of trusting relationships with clients.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to client treatment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective handling of a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy, with familiarity with various digital platforms for mental health services.
• A background in trauma-informed care or specialized training in treating anxiety and depression.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
