Summary
The Project Manager at Infinity Group is the owner of the project from internal kickoff through closeout. This role is responsible for driving the project forward across all phases-ensuring clarity of scope, alignment of teams, and execution of deliverables. The Project Manager leads the definition of the Scope of Work (SOW) as sold by the Client Relations team, manages division buyout, and oversees procurement to ensure all project components are accounted for, competitively bid out, and delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of client satisfaction.
Your Knowledge and Skills
  • Establish operational plans and provide guidance to team members, overseeing routine and non-routine areas.
  • Suggest new processes, and standards within operational plans, effectively managing responsibilities or projects within a budget.
  • Plan resources and delegate effectively, escalating complex problems as needed and leveraging internal resources for collaborative solutions.
  • Leverage internal resources and expertise to foster effective collaboration and create client-centric solutions.
  • Take responsibility for managing client requests and communications.
  • Collaboratively strategize with clients to develop innovative solutions for problems and explore new services, while consistently improving understanding of client and industry needs for future success.
  • Exercise direct discretion in issue resolution, with limited oversight from the Director and moderate direction for non-routine situations.
  • Manage a small to mid-sized team, including professional individual contributors, supervisors, and/or support-level employees.
  • Lead, manage, train, and review the work of direct reports.
  • Experience in design-driven or high-end residential/commercial projects.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to precision and quality
  • High level of urgency and ability to drive results under tight timelines
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and permitting processes.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction documents, and project delivery methods.
  • Full understanding of all commercial construction divisions
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and adaptability to new software/programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within architecture, design-build, or construction.

Your Responsibilities
Project Initiation & Planning
  • Lead the project from internal kickoff through final closeout, maintaining full accountability for scope, schedule, and budget. Including acceptance of all known potential risks and contingency planning for the best possible outcome.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules and task lists, ensuring clarity and alignment across all internal and external stakeholders through the central Infinity Group platform.

Milestone Management
  • Facilitate and lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment including pre-meeting and planning with key project stakeholders to ensure meeting aligns with project success.
  • Provide regular project task updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and facilitate clear communication channels across disciplines to ensure timely decision making.

Pre-Construction Coordination
  • Review construction drawings at Schematic Design (SD), Developed Design (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases, and develop detailed scopes of work through the progressive milestones. This includes review of 3rd party MEP/FP engineer drawings in both progress and final phases.
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor bidding processes, ensuring competitive and complete bids with a minimum of 3 bidders per trade and qualification of bidders as suitable to perform the work.
  • Manage project procurement in collaboration with the CR Associate ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct Lock Away Meetings to confirm all scope is bid out, purchase orders are issued, and internal teams are aligned prior to mobilization.

Construction Oversight
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent, who leads the day-to-day execution of construction activities on-site.
  • Maintain ownership of the construction phase from a project management perspective including oversight of the Project Management Platform (PMP) schedule with a focus on critical path certainty, ensuring alignment with design intent, schedule, budget and quality standards.
  • Support the Superintendent in resolving field issues, coordinating subcontractors, and managing vendor relationships. Including the approval and facilitation of change-orders with support from the Client Associate team.
  • Monitor progress through regular site visits, reports, and coordination meetings to ensure milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the field team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely decision-making.

Project Turnover & Closeout
  • Oversee final inspections, punch lists with client approval documentation, and client handover.
  • Ensure all closeout documentation, warranties, and deliverables are completed and submitted.

Travel Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) site visits per project are required, scheduled strategically across the project lifecycle (e.g., kickoff, mid-point, and close out).
  • Additional travel may be required based on project health, complexity, or at the discretion of leadership to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Monthly travel to Hartford, CT or Austin, TX Studio is required for in-person Project Management team meetings.
  • Occasional travel may be assigned to support cross-functional initiatives, client engagements, or other business needs.
