Patient Escort

Location: Jamaica, NY 11432

Duration: Contract Assignment

Shift: Day Shift

Hours: 7.00 Hours/Day | 5 Days/Week | 35 Hours/Week

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Patient Escort to safely transport patients within a hospital and ambulatory care setting using wheelchairs, stretchers, or hydraulic stretchers. The role requires professionalism, compassion, and strong attention to safety in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
Escort hospital and ambulatory patients safely using wheelchairs, stretchers, or hydraulic stretchers
Ensure timely and efficient patient transport within hospital departments
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity during transport
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and hospital departments
Follow hospital protocols for patient handling and infection control
Assist with coordinating patient movement in a fast-paced environment
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Work alternate weekends as scheduled

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Current CPR certification required
