Express Healthcare Staffing Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Infection Control for a travel nursing job in Roseville, California.

Is responsible for conducting system-wide surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) using nationally accepted definitions i.e. National Health Safety Network (NHSN) criteria and reporting HAIs and IP related measures to NHSN to meet regulatory and facility-specific reporting requirements.Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
Two years' of experience in healthcare associated infection surveillance using NHSN definitions: Required
Prior experience with surveillance systems (e.g., Epic, VigiLanz, Theradoc, or comparable): Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC): Preferred
Certified Infection Control (CIC): Required
