Griffith Family Dental is seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant (DA) to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care and committed to supporting clinical excellence.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
Perform four-handed dentistry efficiently and effectively
Prepare and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures
Take, process, and mount diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays)
Oversee inventory management and order dental supplies as needed
Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
Deliver post-treatment instructions to patients
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Record medical and dental histories and conduct patient screenings
Ensure compliance with infection control standards
Coordinate treatment scheduling with the dental team
Maintain accurate and legally compliant patient records
Salary Range
Part-time $25 - $30 per hour

Shift & Schedule
2-3 days per week, the schedule is assigned weekly.
Monday - Thursday 8:30am-5:30:pm (1 hour lunch break between 12:45pm-2:15pm)
Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm (30 minute lunch break 12-1pm)
Requirements
- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Dentrix
- Dexis
- Driver’s license
- Emergency Dentistry
- Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
- General Dentistry
- Infection Control License
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States
Infection control, CPR, and Radiology safety certificates (required)
No prior experience - welcome to apply
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques
Adherence to all health and safety regulations
