Job Summary:
Michels Corporation is dedicated to improving America’s infrastructure through high impact projects. The IT Applications Architect - Sales & Operations is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities:
• Strong architectural understanding of lead-to-project lifecycle (opportunity → estimate → contract → project execution)
• Experience with Salesforce Architecture
• Experience implementing and integrating Salesforce Field Service for scheduling, dispatch, work orders, and mobile workforce management
• Ability to architect end-to-end integration between CRM, FSL, and PMIS platforms
• Experience with ERP and Construction platforms such as Procore, InEight, or similar, including project financials
• Strong knowledge of integration tools (REST APIs, middleware, iPaaS) to enable real-time and batch data synchronization across systems
• Experience designing field-to-office workflows, including mobile data capture, offline capabilities, and synchronization with core systems
• Experience implementing automation and workflow orchestration (approvals, change orders, service triggers, escalations)
• Ability to enforce security, role-based access, and data governance across application platforms
• Vendor/platform evaluation and roadmap ownership across construction operations systems
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 4-6 years of experience as an IT Technical Architect or similar role, or an equivalent combination
