Job description

A day in this role

You start your morning reviewing electrical drawings and schematics for a new skid build, mapping conduit runs and pull schedules. By mid-day, you’re installing power distribution, motor controls, drives, and lighting in accordance with NEC and NFPA 70E, then validating integrity with a multimeter, voltmeter, and ohmmeter. In the afternoon, you join a toolbox talk, flag an unsafe condition you’ve spotted, and collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and a project manager to keep the schedule on track. If you’re an L4–L5, you’ll also coach a newer electrician through troubleshooting a PLC-powered panel. Every day looks a little different—and that’s the point.

About Re:Build Optimation & Re:Build Manufacturing

Re:Build Optimation delivers custom-engineered process equipment and automated systems worldwide. With nearly four decades focused on complex chemical process systems, we pair precision with reliability and innovation. Our 70+ multidisciplinary engineers, designers, and programmers work alongside 70+ skilled trades in 150,000 sq. ft. of fabrication space to offer true turnkey execution—from concept through fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

As part of Re:Build Manufacturing, we combine the reach of a national industrial leader with the agility and attention of a specialist. We support traditional and green energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, glass, and advanced manufacturing—optimizing operations through automation, process control, and engineered systems.

Is this you?
  • You like tackling all phases of industrial electrical work—installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Quality, precision, and safety matter to you, and your workmanship shows it.
  • You can work independently and also enjoy teaming up with engineers, designers, programmers, and project managers.
  • Variety motivates you; no two projects are the same.
  • You value autonomy and accountability and take pride in delivering results.
  • You want to grow, whether you’re early in your career (L1) or highly experienced (L5).
  • You bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and mentor.
What you’ll tackle
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
  • Execute wiring and conduit, motor controls, variable speed drives, power distribution, lighting, communications, and machine/skid builds.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and job specs.
  • Use test equipment (multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters) to inspect and troubleshoot.
  • Partner closely with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and PMs for successful delivery.
  • Engage in safety programs, toolbox talks, audits, and immediately report unsafe acts/conditions.
  • Mentor junior electricians; L4–L5s lead by example.
What you bring
  • Experience aligned to level (L1–L5), from developing to expert.
  • Comfort working in industrial, commercial, and field environments.
  • Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
  • Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, in hot/cold conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer literacy and clear communication skills.
  • Availability for full-time days, with overtime and occasional travel as needed.
Compensation

Hourly pay: $27.00–$55.00, based on experience.
