What jobs pay 10,000 a month without a degree?

In the industrial network field, roles such as network technicians, systems administrators, or cybersecurity specialists can sometimes reach or exceed $10,000 per month with experience and certifications like Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Security+. These jobs often require technical skills, hands-on training, and knowledge of network infrastructure but do not always require a college degree.

What is the highest paying networking job?

In the field of industrial networking, senior roles such as Network Architects or Network Managers typically have the highest salaries, often exceeding six figures. These positions require advanced skills in network design, security, and troubleshooting, along with relevant certifications like Cisco CCNP or Cisco CCIE.

What is an industrial network?

An industrial network is a communication system used in manufacturing and industrial environments to connect machines, sensors, and control systems. It enables real-time data exchange and automation, often utilizing protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus. Professionals in this field need knowledge of networking, industrial protocols, and safety standards.

What engineering jobs pay $500,000?

In the industrial network field, senior engineering roles such as network architects, systems engineers, and cybersecurity specialists can reach or exceed $500,000 annually with experience, certifications, and leadership responsibilities. These high-paying positions often require advanced skills in network design, security protocols, and extensive industry experience.

What is the difference between Industrial Network vs Industrial Automation Technician?

AspectIndustrial NetworkIndustrial Automation Technician
CertificationsNetwork+, Cisco CCNA, industrial networking certificationsCompTIA A+, Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley certifications
Work EnvironmentIndustrial settings, control rooms, network infrastructure areasManufacturing floors, control panels, automation systems
Industry UsageDesign, install, maintain industrial communication networksInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain automation equipment and systems

While both roles operate within industrial environments, an Industrial Network specialist focuses on communication systems and network infrastructure, whereas an Industrial Automation Technician works directly with automation hardware and control systems. Both roles require technical certifications and are essential for modern industrial operations, but they emphasize different technical skill sets and responsibilities.

  • Implement and support network segmentation and OT/IT separation aligned with cybersecurity and manufacturing requirements.
  • Coordinate with Global IT teams to ensure consistent standards, configurations, and support models.

Wireless Engineering

  • Design, deploy, tune, and support enterprise and industrial wireless networks in manufacturing environments.
  • Troubleshoot roaming behavior, RF interference, coverage gaps, and performance issues impacting AMR operations.
  • Participate in wireless site surveys and remediation activities as required.
Education and Qualifications
