Job description

Express Employment is looking for Material Handler/Sorters to move material around a large industrial facility in Lafayette, IN. You will be responsible for moving recyclable material to reduce waste in the facility. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

Shifts: Material Handler/Sorter

  • 1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2PM-10:30PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10PM-6:30AM

**Pay:**$18.50/hr

Responsibilities: Material Handler/Sorter

  • Load and transport material throughout areas of the facility
  • Unload materials at designated areas with care
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
