Position: Facility Mechanic
Location: Boeing, Huntsville
Job Type: On-site
Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: North America Operations
Position Purpose: Provide industrial mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic maintenance support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving the capability of machinery and equipment to achieve customer objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
• Works safely at all times.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot problems and diagnose issues with mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, & pneumatic control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as engineers, mechanics, and technicians, to complete projects and repairs.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior mechanics.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
• Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
• All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

Position Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance related duties. Must have strong electrical skills
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
• Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface for 4-12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with the necessary time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
