Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment: tempering furnace/laminators, automated cutting systems, automated insulating equipment, and spacer forming/assembly equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and assembly equipment to maximize uptime and equipment lifespan
  • Respond promptly to unplanned downtime and breakdown calls during shift
  • Diagnose faults across mechanical, pneumatic, industrial electrical, and controls systems using multimeters and diagnostic tools
  • Ensure all work complies with OSHA and plant safety standards, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Document all work orders accurately in CMMS and maintain detailed maintenance records
  • Initiate purchase requisitions promptly to keep critical spare parts stocked
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Hands-on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and/or electrical) in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, controls (PLC/HMI exposure a plus), and mechanical processes
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and multimeters
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems preferred

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or vocational certificate in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related trade preferred — equivalent hands-on experience or military maintenance background welcomed
