Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead process planning and industrial engineering activities across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and positive employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all production-related engineering activities including equipment layout, workflow design, and safety measures.
  • Implement Siemens industrial engineering standards, methods, and tools across the site.
  • Plan and monitor IE budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets.
  • Drive simultaneous engineering to reduce development timelines and enhance alignment between production and product development.
  • Ensure manufacturability and testability in product design and optimize manufacturing and test solutions.
  • Analyze manufacturing and logistics processes to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Lead technical inspections and investigations to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including fostering positive employee relations
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the IE team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Develop and mentor team members and support career development.

What you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of engineer-to-order manufacturing and lean principles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other manufacturing systems.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
