Location: Richmond, VA / Monday through Friday, 7:00AM start / $21.28 Hourly with Benefits

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to work in one of our Richmond, VA plants.

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for receiving, inventory management, storing, and distributing new linen, scrubs, and other production related supplies. They are responsible for maintaining an accurate physical inventory, as well as, an accurate record of receipts and distributions. They will need to communicate effectively with the Quality/Garment Manager and Production Management team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Prior inventory management experience.
  • Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts and identify different types of linen.
  • Ability to work in a computerized inventory software.
  • Strong organization skills, data entry and communication skills.
  • Receive and/or assist in receiving of incoming shipments from suppliers and vendors.
  • Be a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple competing demands.
  • Willing to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to walk, stand ad climb stairs up to 8 hours a day.
  • The ability to transport carts of linen weighing up to 600 pounds.
