Advertised Compensation: $75,000.00 to $90,900.00 

Purpose: The Manager of Indirect Procurement executes sourcing initiatives and manages supplier relationships across assigned indirect spend categories. This role conducts sourcing events, negotiates contracts, monitors supplier performance, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver cost savings and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Executes sourcing events for assigned indirect spend including RFP/RFI/RFQ preparation, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations
  • Negotiates supplier contracts and agreements including pricing terms, service levels, and payment conditions; coordinates for legal for contract review and execution
  • Manages assigned category portfolios such as Travel Services (booking tools, travel vendors, policy compliance) and HR & Payroll/Benefits (benefit vendors, payroll providers, program implementation)
  • Conducts market research and benchmarking to identify potential suppliers, pricing opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives within assigned categories
  • Tracks and reports category spend against budget, monitors contract compliance, and provides regular updates on supplier performance and savings achievement
  • Manages day-to-day supplier relationships including performance reviews, issue resolution, invoice discrepancies, and service delivery monitoring
  • Prepares spend analysis, cost comparison models, and sourcing recommendations using procurement tools and data reporting systems
  • Coordinates implementation of sourcing decisions including supplier transitions, stakeholder communications, and change management support
  • Responds to internal stakeholder requests for category support, supplier information, and procurement guidance across Operations and Finance
  • Maintains procurement documentation including contracts, supplier flier files, category spend records, and compliance certifications in accordance with company policies

Reporting Relationship: The Manager of Indirect Procurement reports to the Director of Indirect Procurement

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 6 years:
    • In a leadership role: 3 years of experience leading a team of professionals engaged in executing indirect procurement programs preferred
    • In a technical role: Requires 6 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering indirect procurement programs 
      • A bachelor's degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 3 of the six-year requirement
    • In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
  • Specialized Training:
    • Training that leads to knowledge of procurement processes, contract terms, supplier management practices, and category management fundamentals
  • Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits:
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to perform spend analysis, cost modeling, and data reporting using Excel and procurement systems
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; experience with procurement tools
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; has ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
    • Demonstrated experience working with subject matter experts to gather requirements, define specifications, and execute sourcing activities
    • Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, consistently meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong business acumen and also has the strategic mindset required to understand the long-term implications of indirect procurement decisions and to advance the organization's goals
    • Demonstrated history of anticipating the needs of the business and complex stakeholders
    • Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments
