WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and deliver innovative products and services that solve customer pain points and address unmet market needs
  • Lead new product development for industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, including valves, sensors, and controls (level, gas, pressure, flow, temperature)
  • Analyze operational, test, and research data to establish technical requirements and product specifications
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to define product requirements and ensure successful execution
  • Translate customer needs, application complexity, and market trends into aligned product and technology roadmaps
  • Execute product development through the Hansen new product development process, with emphasis on voice of customer, risk management (DFMEA/PFMEA), design validation, supplier readiness, and production handoff (control plans, PPAP)
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with engineering consultants, suppliers, and research institutions to expand technical capabilities
  • Manage projects and programs by defining scope, schedules, budgets, and key milestones, and driving cross-functional execution
  • Communicate and align across commercial, engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Mentor and support engineering, operations, and quality teams in mechanical and refrigeration principles and cross-functional best practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience delivering new products, technologies, and product improvements.
  • Strong background in electro-mechanical product development for industrial or commercial refrigeration systems, including valves, sensors, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs and market trends into clear product requirements and technology roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience with structured product development processes, including DFMEA, PFMEA, design validation, PPAP, and supplier readiness.
  • Demonstrated project and program management capability, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and milestone execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop others in mechanical and refrigeration principles.
