Position Overview
A-Team Youth & Family LLC is seeking a licensed, master’s-level therapist to provide in-home, community-based family therapy services for youth and families referred through the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS).
This is not a remote position — therapy sessions take place in clients’ homes or community settings throughout Marion County and surrounding areas.
This is a 1099 subcontractor role — not a W-2 position — and ideal for experienced, compassionate professionals who value autonomy, strong support, and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide home-based individual, family, and/or group therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
  • Deliver trauma-informed care that addresses emotional, behavioral, and relational needs
  • Collaborate with families, DCS, schools, courts, and other service providers
  • Complete mental health assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and on time
  • Facilitate family engagement and support reunification and preservation goals
  • Maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect
Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or related clinical field
  • Licensed in Indiana (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSPP) OR license-eligible and under required supervision
  • At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or families
  • Ongoing weekly supervision required if not independently licensed (agency-supported)
  • Knowledge of child abuse/neglect, child development, family dynamics, and community resources
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Ability to pass criminal, BMV, CPS, FBI fingerprint, and state background checks
  • Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
