Registered Veterinary Technician

Indian Tree Animal Hospital | Arvada, CO | Full-Time

Since 1990, Indian Tree Animal Hospital has been a pillar of the Arvada community - delivering modern, comprehensive veterinary care at our state-of-the-art facility just minutes from downtown Denver. We're passionate about providing expert care and hold ourselves to a high standard in everything we do.

We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who shares that passion - someone who brings technical excellence, genuine dedication, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality care to every patient.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Salary: $29.00 - $32.00/hour ***$1,000 sign on bonus 
  • Hours: 38-40 hours per week
  • Availability needed: Monday-Thursday 7am-8:30pm, Friday 7am-6:30pm, Saturday 7am-4:30pm
  • Must be available for at least 2 closing shifts per week and every other Saturday

What You'll Do

You'll play a hands-on role in delivering the comprehensive, high-quality care our clients and patients count on:

  • Support veterinarians through exams, surgeries, anesthesia administration, and patient recovery
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners - from explaining care instructions to providing reassuring updates
  • Perform technical procedures including lab work, radiographs, IV catheter placement, and injections
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing
  • Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready
  • Uphold hospital, DEA, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times

What You Bring

  • Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
  • Confidence and compassion in animal handling and restraint
  • Working knowledge of common disease states and the ability to flag changes in patient condition
  • Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
