Carleton Living is looking for a friendly, high-energy Leasing Consultant who thrives on connecting with people and creating great first impressions.
Property Name: Gateway Oak Cliff
Property Size: 230 Units
What You’ll Do
  • Handle various leasing activities, including contacting prospective residents, scheduling and conducting property tours, and leasing available apartments.
  • Collect rent deposits, rent payments, and other fees; ensure accurate booking.
  • Ensure model units and available apartments are clean, well-presented, and ready for tours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized office and assist with curb appeal efforts.
  • Understand and explain lease terms, property policies, and qualification criteria to prospective residents.
  • Use sales strategies to convert prospects into residents over the phone and in person.
  • Build and maintain relationships with locator services and local businesses for marketing outreach.
  • Shop competing properties to stay competitive and informed of local market conditions.
  • Screen applications and follow leasing processes according to company policy.
  • Participate in outreach marketing efforts to generate leads.
  • Engage with current residents and assist in the lease renewal process.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • Experience with tax-credit (affordable housing) properties is required.
  • Working knowledge of RealPage/Onesite software is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
