About the role

Contractor and remote role, anywhere in the U.S.

As a Supply Chain Consultant Contractor , you will be a member of the implementation team responsible for the overall design and implementation required to meet client needs. You will focus on Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) WMS to measure and conduct operational improvements and work with our clients to enhance supply chain and logistics performance through strategic planning, process re-engineering, and/or information technology implementation.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, computer science, Engineering, or 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS and Supply Chain Implementation consulting.
  • 2+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS concepts and configuration.
  • Experience with other WMS software (Manhattan, HighJump, RedPraire, JDA, Körber Warehouse Advantage, etc.)

Work Location and Travel

  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US. Can live anywhere in the U.S.
  • This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% by airplane and/or car, with overnights.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry or pull office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.

This position is intended to be a 1099 independent contractor engagement and not an employment relationship. The individual selected for this role will provide services as an independent contractor and will not be considered an employee of Open Sky Group for any purpose. Accordingly, the contractor will not be eligible for company-sponsored employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life or disability insurance, retirement or 401(k) benefits, paid time off, paid leave, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or any other benefits made available to Open Sky Group employees. The contractor will be responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, including self-employment taxes, and for maintaining any insurance, licenses, permits, or registrations required to perform the services.
