Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Neurocognitive Therapy


Position Type:Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule:Flexible
-minimum of 10 hours/week
Setting:Outpatient/Telehealth


About the Role


At Mental Health Matters LLC, we pride ourselves in providing the premier level of mental health services including counseling therapy,psychiatric medication management, and neurocognitive therapyfor personal injury patients. Therapists are contracted (1099 position) to provide individual and family services during an increased time of need.


We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide
neurocognitive therapy services to individuals with cognitive-communication disorders. This role focuses on patients with conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion, PTSD-related cognitive symptoms, and executive functioning deficits.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for cognitive-communication disorders
  • Address memory, attention, executive functioning, and problem-solving deficits
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
  • Document services in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (e.g., medical, legal, case management teams)
  • Provide patient and family education

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologylicense in Georgia
  • CCC-SLP preferred
  • Experience with neurocognitive rehabilitation, TBI, or adultand pediatricpopulations preferred
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible, contractor-based environment
