Our Client is seeking outgoing, energetic, and dedicated contract RNs to work in a school setting during the 2026-27 school year acting as a 1:1 School Nurse. Hours will vary but are set during the normal school day.
CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE
* $56+ per/hr. depending on experience, education, availability, and skills of independent contractor.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Confident in skills to support a student with disabilities (quadriplegic, developmental delay).
* Assignment may include riding the bus with the student and staying with them in school.
* Observe students for development and health patterns.
* Assess health complaints and care for students with special healthcare needs.
* Implement plans for students with chronic health problems, and coordinate the administration of medication within State law and Board policies.
* Demonstrate effective communication skills of listening, speaking and writing.
* Effectively support school personnel, parents, and children.
