About the Role:

National Refrigeration is currently seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Sales Representative to join our Quebec Sales Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to clients and customers. The individual will be expected to meet and exceed sales objectives by pursuing customers and developing a network of contacts. This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to retain and use information to grasp and offer informed solutions for complex problems in various situations. Being self motivated and possessing the ability to work independently, under pressure, will be necessary to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to sales or customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Solicit sales of commercial refrigeration products
  • Design refrigeration systems and select equipment based on parameters supplied or industry standards
  • Offer technical support/trouble-shooting expertise for field issues
  • Liaison between contractors, customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing groups
  • Support the sales efforts of the KeepRite Refrigeration Wholesalers
  • Report market trends, competitive activities, and specific customer requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts
  • Participate in activities of business and industry associations, such as CETAF or ASHRAE
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Working knowledge of refrigeration systems/components and how to apply them
  • Possess a valid passport with ability to cross border between Canada and USA
  • Previous sales experience and/or business related courses
  • Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma or 5 years related experience
  • Bilingual (must be able to read, write and speak French and English)
