Job description

Independent Contractor Student Transportation Services

Location: Albuquerque

Compensation: $25/hour (paid for actual drive time only)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099 – Not an Employee)

We are currently seeking Independent Contractors to provide student transportation services using Suburban-style vehicles in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This is a part-time, contract-based position, ideal for individuals with a clean driving record and flexible availability during school transportation hours.

As a contractor, you will be paid only for actual drive time, and no benefits are offered. This is not an employee position.

Safely transport students to and from assigned locations

Maintain timely schedules and communicate any delays

Comply with all district safety and transportation protocols

Valid New Mexico Driver's License (Non-CDL)

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check

Prior transportation experience preferred

Contractors must sign an Independent Contractor Agreement

Must submit W-9 form

Paid through Accounts Payable (not payroll)

Must submit timesheets or logs for actual drive hour
